Are you an ambitious junior marketer, looking for more responsibility and scope to develop your skills? This fantastic role with a leading healthcare business offers an exceptional opportunity to learn and grow, working as part of a friendly and supportive team.
Due to internal promotion, there is a new vacancy for an Assistant Product/Brand Manager who will work across a portfolio of well-known OTC and self-care brands. With no two days the same, this role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment, with the skills, initiative and confidence to lead their own projects.
Key responsibilities will include;
• Assisting with brand strategy and planning across the portfolio
• Supporting the team with consumer and trade marketing plans
• Acting as brand champion within the business, motivating and inspiring colleagues to achieve shared goals
• Monitoring market and competitor activity, making recommendations for opportunities
• Tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
• Analysing, interpreting, reporting and presenting market data
• Working cross functionally with sales teams to prepare trade plans
• Leading digital account management, website and social media initiatives
• Briefing and managing agencies
• Tracking and managing the marketing budget
About you
• You have around 2 years’ brand management experience, in self-care (OTC) or FMCG.
• You’re a great project manager, able to plan your time well to meet deadlines.
• You have experience analysing and interpreting market data, and have a good understanding of commercial levers.
• You’re proficient in social media and website management.
• You have led cross-functional initiatives, and have experience of managing external agencies and suppliers.
• You can demonstrate your experience of managing projects from concept to launch.
• You’re a positive and proactive person; a strong communicator and problem-solver with the capacity to negotiate and influence at all levels.
• You love to be part of a collaborative team, making a strong contribution towards achieving targets.
