Our client, a leading player in the healthcare industry, is seeking a talented brand thinker to join its team based on the South Coast.  This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned marketing professional to make a significant impact on the success of well-known consumer brands.

 

Position Overview

In this key role, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies and plans for our client's portfolio of products.  Working closely with internal teams and external agencies, you'll be responsible for the entire marketing lifecycle,from ideation to implementation and evaluation. Your expertise will contribute to strategic discussions, budget optimisation, and ultimately, driving sales and brand growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Developing and implementing comprehensive brand & marketing strategies and plans aligned with budgetary and time constraints to drive sales and market share

·      Actively participating instrategic discussions and optimising marketing & sales budgets to maximise ROI

·      Overseeing the entire marketing lifecycle, from development to implementation and re-evaluation of plans

·      Planning and leading partner review meetings, demonstrating expertise in category, brand and marketing issues and strategy

·      Creating compelling presentations for brand partners, customers, and internal stakeholders across all key functions

·      Drafting briefs for outsourced activities, securing approval, and managing agency relationships

·      Conducting in-depth product and audience analyses to identify growth opportunities and inform NPD and marketing plans

·      Manage sales and expenditure budgets and sales forecasts

·      Mentor and developing line report(s) as required

 

Skills &Experience Required

·      Minimum of 5-6 years' robust brand marketing experience, preferably within an FMCG or OTC consumer healthcare environment

·      Experience in Health & Beauty or OTC healthcare is preferred; experience in other highly regulated markets may be considered

·      Solid knowledge and experience of working in grocery and/or pharmacy trade channels

·      Proven track record increating and implementing successful brand plans

·      Understanding of financial KPIs that influence P&L management (e.g., ROI methodology, promotional evaluations, stock management, COGS management)

·      Proficient in using Excel to develop spreadsheets to support analyses and proposals

·      Skilled in using PowerPoint to create influential presentations for client, trade, and colleague meetings

·      Strong influencing skills, stemming from competence in analysis, strategy, and nuances of communication channels

·      Adaptable and comfortable working independently and as part of a team

·      Pragmatic and organised, with the ability to multi-task and reprioritise in a dynamic environment
