Lovely opportunity for a numerate and analytical graduate to take a step into the FMCG world. If you are fascinated by the world of supermarkets and convenience stores, curious about why consumers buy the things they buy, and adept at finding hidden stories in data and numbers, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Category & Insights Manager and the wider Marketing team to deliver to challenging commercial targets
  • Develop expertise across a range of data sources (Circana, Kantar, Bridgethorne, Assosia, Dunnhumby) becoming the “go to” expert for all things data-related.
  • Collect and analyse data to build and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports
  • Monitor market and industry trends through a range of sources, collaborating with colleagues across the business as well as store visits, competitor and market analysis, trade press etc.
  • Track performance of specific projects such as shopper marketing activity and new product launches
  • Support the marketing team with analysis of all brand activity (e.g. TV advertising) to evaluate effectiveness, as well as contributing to the brand planning process through provision of data and insight
  • Provide ad-hoc data requests for all commercial teams
  • Join internal meetings and customer presentations as needed

What we need from you

  • Around a year’s experience, perhaps a placement year or full time after graduation
  • High level of numeracy and strong analytical skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Confident presenting data and delivering complex information to a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good team player and a confident communicator, both written & verbal
  • A degree in Marketing, Business or a related subject is desirable
