Our client, a trailblazing sustainable beverage company based outside the UK, is seeking a talented FMCG-trained marketer to lead its UK brand strategy and drive growth.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation at the forefront of its category, that creates premium, organic, and Fairtrade drinks while making a genuine difference in the lives of their growers and communities. Position Overview

As Marketing Manager, you will play the primary role in driving the UK brand strategy, reporting into an internationally based, UK-trained Marketing Director, and leveraging consumer insight to unlock and accelerate growth and increase brand visibility.  Working closely with a small global marketing team and UK commercial lead, and supported by a brand manager, you'll champion the consistent execution of the brand positioning, identity, and imagery across all touchpoints.  This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a company recognised for its commitment to ethical business practices and empowering communities.  This is a role for someone who works well with limited supervision, and enjoys autonomy and control.

 

Key Responsibilities

·      Leading and delivering the UK brand strategy and plan, leveraging consumer insights to drive growth

·      Coaching, developing and managing the Brand Manager

·      Championing consistent execution of brand positioning, identity, and imagery across all touchpoints

·      Driving brand visibility through key brand assets and compelling content across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels

·      Growing consumer trial through initiatives such as brand activations, sampling, events, and partnerships

·      Managing Shopify, consumer enquiries, and all on-line consumer communications via the website

·      Partnering with international marketing teams on common workstreams including brand imagery, EDMs, socialmedia, and purpose communication

·      Collaborating with the Sales team to deliver winning customer plans and communications

·      Managing local packagingu pdates, NPD development, and launch plans

·      Overseeing the total marketing budget, allocating spend to strategic priorities

 

Requirements

·      Minimum 5-7 years' classical FMCG marketing experience, ideally in the food & drink sector

·      Proven track record of high performance in brand management, with expertise in digital and social media

·      Strong strategic capabilities coupled with excellent execution skills

·      Skilled in leadership with experience in people management

·      Passionate about the consumer, with a curious and creative mindset

·      Experienced in leading agencies to deliver outstanding brand communications and activations

·      Exceptional organisational, prioritisation and multi-tasking abilities

·      A self-starter with the ability to move fast and make things happen

·      Accomplished and passionate storyteller who can inspire others with a vision

·      Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

·      Strong partner to interna lfunctions such as Sales, Supply & Finance

·      Values-driven with a passion for impact-led businesses and a strong social conscience

·      Positive, high-energy team player with a growth mindset and willingness to travel occasionally
