Exciting and challenging opportunity with this £multi-billion global food manufacturer working on a brand with a presence in markets across the world.  We’re looking for a food-passionate and driven shopper marketer looking to take their next step in their already successful FMCG career.

 

[Hybrid working with 3 days/week office and 2 days/home]

 

Exciting and challenging opportunity for smart shopper or customer marketer to bring their drive, energy, commercial savvy and creativity to this exciting role with a major FMCG business, building retail presence and shopper engagement for a brand that has a significantretail presence and a place in millions of cupboards across the UK.  Working in the head office team, you’ll work closely with key retail customers to build and deliver insightful, differentiated shopper campaigns that drive interest at the point of purchase -unlocking shopper barriers and prompting triggers to purchase with product guidance and compelling promotional initiatives.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

Developing impactful best in class omni-shopper marketing campaigns strategies for you raccounts, following through to execution.  End to end campaign management and post-launch evaluation of activities.

Internally: Being the go-to contact for media within your account.

Externally: Leading customer presentations and drive regular contact with key accounts. Presenting compelling insight led shopper marketing plans with conviction which align with brand and retailer strategies.

Owning the launch of NPD & innovation platforms in store to drive trial and penetration within your accounts.

Optimally managing the day-to-day relationships with third party agency partners to foster a collaborative, efficient and effective way of working.

Guiding and developing the Shopper Marketing Exec through all responsibilities and tasks.

Managing budget and investment levels for your accounts, including monthly financial reviews.  Supporting the Senior Manager in planning of annual budget and shopper marketing strategy.

Promoting a ‘shopper first’ mindset across the business and considering the shopper in every business decision.

Interpreting all available industry, category, customer and shopper data, (i.e. target occasions, missions, customers, channels and shopper segments) and translating it into a clear set of prioritised opportunities for the business.

 

Skills & Experience Checklist

Robust shopper, customer, trade or category marketing experience gained in a leading FMCG environment, ideally with experience in eCommerce shopper campaigns too.

Experience developing and delivering media plans and campaigns.

Understanding of the full shopper journey touchpoints.

High level of attention to detail.

Commercial savvy and a good grasp ofthe grocery retail environment.

Excellent communication and project management/organisational skills.

Strong team player with a can-do attitude and drive for achievement

Confident and capable of operating at all levels – a good team player
